Madonna's 11th studio LP, Hard Candy, is still several weeks away from commercial release, but fans got their first look at the pop icon's new video Thursday morning (April 3). A 16-second clip of the video for "4 Minutes," which was co-written by Justin Timberlake and Timbaland, made its world premiere on iTunes, but the clip will only be available for 48 hours.
In the snippet making the Internet rounds, Madonna, looking better than she has in years, gyrates in front of a huge digital clock, sporting a cream corset, glistening black boots and her trademark platinum-blond locks. Justin Timberlake, wearing a largely denim outfit and a scarf wrapped around his neck, also struts his stuff in the clip.
The video was filmed in London nearly two months ago and was directed by French wunderkinds Jonas and François. The track, which was originally titled "Four Minutes to Save the World," is a hard-hitting club gem, with an underlying urban, hip-hop beat. In a press release, Madonna had this to say about the clip: "Goody goody gum drops."
