Madonna’s husband, Guy Ritchie, has bought the pop superstar a $20,000 ice pick-style dagger.The ‘Snatch’ director splashed out on the bizarre gift — designed by Mick Jagger’s daughter Jade — to mark the launch of the Material Girl’s new album Hard Candy and celebrate her No1 single 4 Minutes.
A source said: “Madge already has a limited-edition Jade Jagger dagger. Guy thought it would go with the other one — which cost $200,000 and is a one-off.”
Or maybe there is a little something buried here? Maybe Guy got bored wrestling with the boys and thought ice picking with a wife would be more entertaining? Such a lovely family time ahead of them!
The pair, who have been married nearly 8-years, will both be in attendance at the Cannes Film Festival next month, Madonna for the screening of her documentary about orphans in Malawi and to go to Aids charity Amfar’s party/benefit. Guy, 39, will be showing his latest gangster flick RocknRolla.
